Associate Production Frankfort Cold SideJob Summary:Indiana Packers is seeking reliable, hardworking individuals to join our team as Associate Production team members on the Cold Side. This full-time role, Production Associates help process, package, and inspect meat products.Responsibilities:Perform a variety of production tasks, which may include cutting, trimming, deboning, packaging, labeling, and preparing meat products for shipment.Operate production machinery and equipment as needed while following proper procedures.Support food safety and quality assurance standards in accordance with company policies and USDA regulations.Adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).Work efficiently with team members to help meet daily production goals and deadlines.Assist supervisors and management with additional duties as assigned.Qualifications:Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.Able to work in a cold, fast-paced, and physically demanding environment.Previous experience in meat processing, food production, or manufacturing is helpful but not required.Able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs., and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.Rehire criteria is 120 days of waiting period from most recent termination date. Three times rule, candidates are not eligible if they worked for Indiana Packers 3 times already.This position at times requires to work overtime as needed.Demonstrates a strong work ethic and works well in a team environment.Committed to following all company policies, including food safety and workplace safety protocols.This job description is not intended to include every task, duty, or responsibility that may be required of the employee. Duties and responsibilities may change at any time, with or without notice.Work Environment:This position is performed in a production environment where team members may be exposed to cold, heat, humidity, outdoor conditions, dust, fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level may be loud, and hearing protection is required. Team members must follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment while working in these conditions.Physical Demand:The physical demands described below are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.Team members must be able to stand and walk for long periods, lift objects up to 50 lbs., and perform strenuous physical work in a production setting. The role may require lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, bending, twisting, repetitive movement, and the use of abdominal and lower back muscles for support.
