Job Description

Production Manager — Exterior Remodeling

Carp’s Complete Exteriors | Omaha Metro Area

Great projects start before the crew arrives.

You understand that a successful remodeling project takes preparation, clear expectations, the right materials, and someone who follows through. You know how to lead people, anticipate problems, and keep multiple jobs moving while holding a high standard.

Carp’s Complete Exteriors is looking for a Production Manager who will take ownership of that process.

We help Omaha-area homeowners transform and protect their homes with premium exterior remodeling, including James Hardie siding, Marvin windows, ProVia doors, Malarkey roofing, and gutters. Our customers expect exceptional craftsmanship and a professional experience from start to finish.

Your role is to turn those expectations into results. You’ll oversee production from the sales handoff through project completion, bringing the planning, leadership, and accountability that help our team do its best work.

Why Carp’s?

This is an opportunity to make a direct impact on how our projects run, how our team performs, and how our customers experience the company. You’ll work with premium products and a team committed to quality craftsmanship. We value leaders who bring solutions, communicate honestly, develop the people around them, and take pride in completing work properly. Our BUILD values guide how we work:

B — Be Problem Solvers and Servant Leaders

U — Uphold Integrity and Trust

I — Invest in Excellence

L — Listen with Humility

D — Deliver with Purpose

Ready to Take Ownership?

Apply with your resume and a brief cover letter about the projects and teams you’ve managed. Tell us about an improvement you made that reduced delays, improved quality, or helped control job costs. If you take pride in prepared crews, organized jobs, satisfied customers, and strong results, we want to hear from you.

Compensation:

$80,000 - $100,000 yearly

Responsibilities:

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Prepare jobs for a successful start. Review the scope, measurements, installation details, material needs, labor requirements, and jobsite conditions with sales and the assigned project manager. Resolve questions before crews arrive.

  • Own the production schedule. Coordinate project managers, crews, subcontractors, material deliveries, and job readiness. Adjust for weather and changing conditions while keeping everyone informed.

  • Lead and hold the team accountable. Set clear expectations for workmanship, productivity, jobsite care, safety, and communication. Verify progress, address problems promptly, and follow through on commitments.

  • Protect quality throughout the project. Conduct appropriate jobsite checks and ensure work follows the agreed scope, manufacturer requirements, and company standards. Pay particular attention to flashing, water management, and the details that affect long-term performance.

  • Manage job costs and protect profitability. Monitor labor, materials, waste, and rework. Evaluate requests for additional costs, investigate discrepancies, and ensure scope changes receive the required written approval before additional work proceeds.

  • Support a strong customer experience. Work closely with project managers and the office to keep homeowners informed. Handle concerns professionally, investigate the facts, and carry issues through to resolution.

  • Finish projects completely. Oversee quality inspections, punch lists, final walkthroughs, jobsite cleanup, and completion documentation. Keep outstanding items moving until they are resolved.

  • Make the production department better. Identify recurring problems with material planning, unnecessary supply runs, scheduling, communication, or installation. Put practical solutions in place and make sure they stick.

Qualifications:

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience leading residential construction or remodeling production, with exterior remodeling experience strongly preferred.

  • Practical knowledge of siding, windows, doors, roofing, gutters, and exterior installation methods.

  • Experience coordinating multiple projects, managing field teams, and working effectively with subcontractors.

  • Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to anticipate what a job needs before it becomes urgent.

  • The confidence to have direct, respectful conversations and hold people accountable.

  • Sound judgment when evaluating installation concerns, customer issues, and additional costs.

  • Comfort using construction software, schedules, budgets, and photo documentation. Experience with AccuLynx and CompanyCam is a plus.

  • A willingness to stay involved in the field, coach the team, and take responsibility for results.
