Hiring: SAP System Administrator – SAP HANA / SAP Basis

Location: Raleigh, NC

⏳ Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced SAP System Administrator with deep expertise in SAP HANA Database Administration and SAP NetWeaver Basis to support a large-scale enterprise SAP landscape and an ongoing migration to SAP NS2 / S/4HANA Cloud, Private Edition.

Key Responsibilities

\n
• Administer and support 100+ production and non-production SAP HANA databases.
\n
• Perform SAP HANA installation, configuration, patching, performance tuning, backup, recovery, and System Replication.
\n
• Manage SAP NetWeaver Basis administration across ABAP and Java stacks.
\n
• Execute SAP kernel updates, support package stacks, system refreshes, transports, and system copies.
\n
• Support SAP OS/DB migrations, upgrades, and S/4HANA conversion initiatives.
\n
• Monitor system performance, database capacity, availability, and operational health.
\n
• Participate in 24x7 on-call rotations, daily system checks, incident management, and problem resolution.
\n
• Support SAP landscape migration to SAP NS2 and coordinate technical changes across development, QA, and production environments.
\n
• Work with SAP Solution Manager and cross-functional infrastructure teams.
\n

✅ Required Skills

\n
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP HANA Database Administration.
\n
• Expertise in SAP NetWeaver Basis across ABAP and Java stacks.
\n
• Experience with HANA System Replication, backup and recovery, performance tuning, and database upgrades.
\n
• Knowledge of SAP kernel updates, SPS updates, transports, and system copies.
\n
• Experience with SAP OS/DB migrations, S/4HANA conversions, and cloud-hosted SAP landscapes.
\n
• Exposure to AWS or comparable public cloud environments.
\n
• Strong production support, troubleshooting, incident management, and availability management skills.
\n

⭐ Preferred Qualifications

\n
• SAP HANA and SAP NetWeaver System Administration certifications.
\n
• Experience with SAP RISE, SAP NS2, or S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition.
\n
• SAP Solution Manager, ChaRM, or SAP Focused Run experience.
\n
• AWS GovCloud and public sector / FedRAMP / GovRAMP experience.
\n
• Knowledge of OpenText, SAP BW on HANA, SAP CRM, GRC/Access Control, or Enterprise Portal.
